The former member of a USMC PSYOPS unit and self-aggrandizing blowhard Adam Kotexkesh has planned a little stroll for gun nuts on July Fourth.
On the morning of July 4, 2013, Independence Day, we will muster at the National Cemetery & at noon we will step off to march across the Memorial Bridge, down Independence Avenue, around the Capitol, the Supreme Court, & the White House, then peacefully return to Virginia across the Memorial Bridge. This is an act of civil disobedience, not a permitted event. We will march with rifles loaded & slung across our backs to put the government on notice that we will not be intimidated & cower in submission to tyranny. We are marching to mark the high water mark of government & to turn the tide. This will be a non-violent event, unless the government chooses to make it violent. Should we meet physical resistance, we will peacefully turn back, having shown that free people are not welcome in Washington, & returning with the resolve that the politicians, bureaucrats, & enforcers of the federal government will not be welcome in the land of the free.
There’s a remote chance that there will be violence as there has been from government before, and I think it should be clear that if anyone involved in this event is approached respectfully by agents of the state, they will submit to arrest without resisting. We are truly saying in the SUBTLEST way possible that we would rather die on our feet than live on our knees.
Take if you will the case of Barrett Brown. Brown has been sitting in federal prison without a trial for almost a year at this point, for making threats on youtube against an FBI agent. Brown made these remarks while he was going through heroin withdrawal, but his incarceration happened without delay. Kokesh, however, has stated on the Alex Jones show (?!) that he considers this event to be an “armed revolt against the government.”
If Kokesh does not– at the very least– get a visit from some manner of law enforcement agency (and apparently, he lives right down the road from the headquarters of the FBI, so it’s not too far of a drive) he is every bit as much of a paid agent provocateur as Hal Turner was.
No, no– think about this. All of Kokesh’s stunts involve a large number of people getting arrested. Remember when he tried to sell lemonade on the national mall? The law he violated is in place to keep shitty multinational corporations like McDonalds from setting up a burger stand in the center of “America’s Lawn.” Those people he duped into standing up for libertarian capitalist exploitation of the commons? All arrested– except for him. Remember his “dance party” at the Jefferson Memorial? He got arrested as well as a bunch of other people for violating… a fire code.
This latest stunt is most likely the last, dying gasp of an agent provocateur who’s heard the buzz that his handlers are considering cutting his paycheck. Look, regardless if you are for or against open or concealed carry, the law is very clear: DC law explicitly forbids either within its boundaries, federal law explicitly forbids either on all of its property, Arlington National Cemetery forbids both (unless you’re part of an official funeral and it’s part of your full dress uniform, but we strongly doubt a gaggle of paultards in ratty t-shirts and shorts carrying a motley assortment of cobbled-together ARs and AKs are anybody’s uniform outside of whiny Halo fanboys whose mothers won’t bring them more chocolate milk, but we digress) and the border between DC and Virginia actually exists immediately where the asphalt ends and the bridge begins. Even if this cadre of hilariously inept goons manages to assemble outside of DC without any incident, all access to DC over that bridge during the fourth of July is controlled by checkpoints where all sorts of contraband are seized from tourists attempting to enter the District– and where, incidentally, I was detained and interrogated by National Parks police for a few minutes because I happened to have a sprig of mugwort tied around my backpack handle.
We’ve covered one of these stupid open carry rallies before. Kokesh’s plan makes that event seem level-headed and sanely managed, even though the elder event was organized by people who advocated throwing bricks through the office windows of their members of congress. Of course, those folks don’t really seem to like Kokesh’s plan. Oh, what the hell, they’re going BALLISTIC over it (OH GOD THAT WAS A HORRIBLE PUN)
Look, I don’t think that Kokesh is part of some bizarre Hollywood-esque fantasy that’s part of a plan to slaughter profoundly stupid gun owners in public in front of families with small children– that’s paranoid jibber-jabber. It is, however, standard operating procedure for law enforcement to use informants and provocateurs to entrap other people without having to actually commit the crime of entrapment.
We’ve mocked the hyperbolic rhetoric of the gun-nut crowd to no end here, so don’t take this as some sort of massive political shift– we’re highlighting Kokesh because he’s been the beneficary of a wall of silence. Any time anyone on the left has attempted to complain about his revolting behavior, they’ve been shouted down or ignored. Remember when Kokesh was kicked out of the IVAW house? What about the numerous times he’s conducted fawning, softball interviews with Kevin Deanna– the white supremacist founder of Youth for Western Civilization? If there was any response, it usually consisted of “YUR JEST A ILLOOMINATY SOCK PUPPET” or other barely coherent invective.
Now he’s going to collect a group of easily impressionable, easily terrified gun owners and throw them in front of a sea of well trained, highly disciplined and heavily armed police. What could POSSIBLY go wrong?

They, along with the men, pick up flags, draw up signs, and walk out into public to take part in a democratic liturgy.

But whomever would make this argument must remember that the situations in these countries are very different; the political climate is more amenable there, than here. My friend Shane Long, of the Maryland League of the South, attended Heimbach’s counter-protest, and brought with him a confederate battle flag. No more offensive sign could have been found with which to oppose the unwashed animals descending on us. In one symbol, all of the heroism, righteousness, and universal good ever accomplished by Christendom, all of our art, all of our beauty, is boiled into a concentrated form of light, which the heathens cannot bear to look upon.

We clashed with the protestors, and some of them attacked Shane. They had to get that flag. In a flurry of fists and violence, I lost sight of both Shane and the flag, but a moment later, amidst the leering, screaming crowd, I saw the symbol rise up. Shane lifted it proudly through the muck. He still held it! Our line remained unbroken!
Torn in half, and no mention of Heimbach being caught completely unprepared and unawares when HIS flag was ripped right off its flagpole. Nice selective editing, you glue-huffing fool.

Forced to the ground by armed police, Shane fell back, and the crowd dispersed, with the battle flag unfortunately out of his possession. I dove for it, blocking the wild punches and kicks as best I could, and striking back with all the rage of an awakened Saxon (I knocked a fat, blaspheming jewess to the ground, a fact which I’d normally be ashamed of, but on this occasion, it gave a great deal of satisfaction).

I was quickly swamped, and began taking hits from all sides.

The streets outside the Marriot Wardman Park hotel in Washington DC were alive on Friday, February 10th, 2011, as protestors affiliated with Occupy DC, the SEIU, the AFL-CIO and a host of allied organizations descended on the annual Conservative Political Action Conference, also known as CPAC. Participants traveled from as far away as Pittsburgh and New York City to demonstrate against money in politics, income inequality and a profusion of crimes and abuses perpetrated against the poor, working and middle classes.
CPAC does little to hide the fact that it is a product of and for the elite rich, with a full pass to the conferences costing 200 dollars, a one day pass at 75 dollars and media passes only awarded to a select few that have passed a rigorous background check that would make the FBI jealous. Due to this, we weren’t able to cover the most interesting of these conferences, the tantalizingly named “THE FAILURE OF MULTICULTURALISM” hosted by anti-immigrant fanatic Peter Brimelow and the hate group Youth for Western Civilization. Viking fetishist Kevin DeAnna and alcoholic nuisance Marcus Epstein were present, while Rep. Steve King (R-IA) and notable xenophobe John Derbyshire delivered speeches. Predictably, they chose to cower behind security checkpoints, bulletproof glass and hundreds of non-white police officers instead of daring to wade into the sea of untermenschen. Also present were Kevin Lamb from the white nationalist ProEnglish, Tim Dionisopoulos from Youth for Western Civilization, Jim Gilchrist from The Minuteklanmen and notorious snitch Brandon Darby.

The specter of thousands of union steelworkers, maids and politically charged citizens exercising their fist amendment rights outside of a hotel was apparently enough to terrify attendees of CPAC, who hid behind phalanxes of riot police, barely venturing to the windows to snatch a peek at the lives they have been frittering away for the sake of greater profit. Referred to as the old stand-bys of “purveyors of chaos” and “union thugs” by histrionic fear-mongers in the right-wing echo-chamber, the demonstration on Friday was largely peaceful, despite vehement fulminations by apologists for the 1% to force all of these “welfare recipients” into “work camps and gas chambers.”
This has been the first major protest organized against CPAC in its nearly forty-year run.
Popular activist movements attract all manner of scavengers and hangers-on, most of which seek to capitalize on the success of the more popular group to compensate for the fact that the majority of society regards them as a bunch of babbling kooks. The Occupy Movement is no different, with everyone from The American Spectator to Zeitgeist seeing the mass throng of people as easy pickings by which to enlarge their subscriber base and coffers. Some of these groups, however, see the Occupy Movement as a means to seek legitimacy for their own morally reprehensible causes, whether that takes the form of racism, fraud or selling out activists to the feds.
Here then, is a list of some of the most odious and dangerous groups and individuals currently sucking off the teat of the Occupy Movement. These people shouldn’t be considered part of the broader Occupy Movement, no matter what sort of “authority” they claim.
First came to prominence by hawking a bogus DDOS tool called #refref, which was promised to allow one solo user to take down any website. It was soon discovered that #refref was a total fraud, and AnonCMD was using this fake tool as a means to collect personal information on easily duped anons in order to “dox” them. He was run out of Anonops on a rail and has since turned up as the administrator for the Occupy Chicago Facebook group. During his time at the actual occupation in Chicago, he was heard to have been namedropping numerous prominent Anons as people he was allegedly friends with. This is classic snitch behavior– drop names of prominent activists as people you are “good friends with” in order to gain acceptance with higher-ups in another activist group, when in reality those “good friends” hate that snitch’s guts.

They’ve been outed as frauds, a bunch of people were embarrassed and they’re now on the run from the inescapable, unholy wrath of Anonymous. They wanted your money, now they probably want the world to forget them.

American neo-conservative magazine whose editor Patrick Howley bragged about infiltrating the Occupy DC movement and subsequently led a group of protestors at the National Air and Space Museum to storm the doors, which resulted in several people being pepper-sprayed. Howley was sprayed twice and praised his attackers in a peice that has since been removed from the American Spectator’s website, replaced and edited numerous times– but not before the mainstreampress wrote about it.

Right wing militia group consisting of police officers and military personnel that– aside from REALLY HATING LEFTISTS– have attempted to be a large part of Occupy Los Angeles, going so far as to issue a really scary-sounding mission statement that does everything but state outright that they plan on staging a violent revolt against the US in general.
This part of their statement gets special notice: “Our government, over many generations has taken part in the destruction of the Constitution of the United States, the slow secretive theft of the rights from the American People, and during the un American acts, compromised the integrity of our nations great name. In light of these events, we now see ever so clearly that these leaders are no longer fit to represent the People of the Free World. We the People are now exercising our rights by way of the first two Amendments in order to Stand United for the Second American Revolution.”
The first two amendments? None of the Occupy groups has even remotely suggested any possibility of being even the slightest bit friendly to anything involving the second amendment, so this is what raises warning flags. This sort of vaguely-violent language comes directly out of the same scene that birthed the Alarm and Muster maniacs and the Sovereign Citizen movement. It’s dangerous and wholly at odds with the pacifist nature of the Occupy movement thus far; this just might be another American Spectator-esque stunt to discredit the movement as a whole.
We know these elements don’t hold any sway in the broader Occupy movement. We know that the mass media’s constant hammering of “the Occupy movement has no clear message” is bull– but it’s up to all of us to ensure that message doesn’t turn into “The occupy movement is just a bunch of paranoid, anti-Semitic UFO conspiracy theorists!”

Anonymous is a collective that operates in the actions of a hive that is made up of many different kinds of individuals who all have their own ideas and ideologies.
We are also aware that there are a few individuals who have participated in Anonymous hive actions who do consider themselves white supremacists, conservatives, Republicans, Libertarians … but there has never really been any hive action advocating for racist, conservative, or Republican ideology that falls under “srs bznz”.
There have been, however, certain hive actions that have fought up against racism, police brutality, and right wing insanity.
In stating all of this we are trying to clear up any confusions of claims of what Anonymous as a collective does or does not stand for or believe, as this is a fluid concept and always depends on the individuals participating in the various hive operations.
PRESSTORMING
The 8Presstorm8 media operation was the brain child of a woman who uses the handle “Jamie Jo Corne”. Jamie is an interesting individual who likes to put forth the impression that she is an “investigative journalist” in fact she repeats it almost to the level of a mantra to the point where one wonders whether she is trying to convince those she is telling this to or if she trying to convince herself.

Using her aggressive style Jamie pushed to ingratiate herself into worlds of both Anonymous and Wikileaks, gaining a combination of friends and enemies on her way.
Jamie was infamous for her lavish claims of big media connections and credits that were often disproven.
She also elbowed herself into interviews with various types of media passing herself off as both an expert on Anonymous and an insider to the happenings of Anonymous operations.
While Jamie probably isn’t the first and probably won’t be the last person on the internet to make up outlandish claims and to try to infiltrate and manipulate Anonymous, her fables were a bit off putting.

The real red flags came to the attention of many people when Jamie published an article on Presstorm by the American Free Press publication which is owned and run by the racist White Nationalist: Willis Carto

To add insult to injury, also featured in this “American Free Press” article was a quote from “The Protocols of the Elders of Zion” an old publication that is strongly believed to be the inspiration for the Nazi mass genocide of the Jews.
When confronted on this, instead of being apologetic for offering a venue for Nazi propaganda, Jamie became irate and rude. She had a cult level following of loyalists who chose to defend this kind of material rather than also question it’s presence on Presstorm which would have been the path most people who oppose racism would take.
The question was then, was Jamie herself a racist and was there an undercurrent agenda she was using Presstorm for?
This brings us to Jamie’s husband, whom we have heard is named “Dave” but we are not sure.
What we do know is that he was a sour tempered gadfly type on Twitter who used the handle “vincubusdante” and spent hours on the internet spewing nonsensical crude insults at anyone who questioned or confronted anything that had to do with Presstorm.

Nobody had an issue when Jamie proudly posted a photo of her young children waving a Confederate flag, a symbol related to racism, slavery, lynching and hate?

Jamie and her husband’s questionable racist ethics were not the only presence on Presstorm, there was also the issue of one of their main contributors who goes by the handle “Dale Hollyn”.

“Dale Hollyn”‘s anti-choice articles on Presstorm struck an offensive note in a lot of people. In doing a little digging it didn’t take too long to find their right wing and quite racist Islamophobic blog called The Indianapolis Levee .

Being that Indylevee.com is obviously not a very popular blog, and the profile states residency in Indiana we came to the conclusion that this is either “Dale Hollyn” or someone pretty damn close to him.

In the world of Anonymous we must never forget or ignore the connection to 4Chan and the impish trolls from /b/. The common rhetoric and memes babbled on the internets have always be a collection of offensive and racist slurs used to troll and offend people who usually take life too seriously.
Are these slurs made because the trolls on /b/ support racism? No, they support trolling and getting “LULZ” from the people who rage from their antics.
Does /b/ or Anonymous support actual real life Ku Klux Klan or Nazi level racism? Over all we can safely say “no”.
In theory the majority of us can say we support free speech, we understand everyone has the right to be hateful if they choose and to scribbling down and even publish their bigoted verbiage.
We also reserve the right not to support hate speech nor do we have an obligation to offer it a platform and allow it to co-opt and try to define Anonymous into this kind of rightwing and hateful agenda.
Nor should we be bullied into compromising with this kind of internet presence.
The bullying from Presstorm to accept the racist publications and agenda they were pushing was almost on the level of the Scientology tactics Anonymous was fighting against only a few years ago.
As an individual, whether you are an Anon for “LULZ” or an Anon as a “freedom fighter” you never should allow yourself to be intimidated and conned into accepting an agenda that is inspired by conspiracy fairytales of hate and scapegoating those of a certain race, skin color, religion, sexual orientation. Anyone who is calling this bill of goods “freedom” is a hate mongering manipulator.
Lessons to be learned:
1. Beware of those who come out of nowhere and then assume to take charge. Anonymous is and always was a leaderless concept and should always beware of falling under the grip of a charismatic charlatan.
2. Beware of anyone begging for money, if there is someone raising money for a good cause that you think you can trust then donate at your own risk, but, Anonymous is not a cash cow, it is an internet machine.
3. Beware of crazy conspiracy agendas, most conspiracy theories are total bullshit anyone trying to push them on you is full of shit.
Jamie’s downfall is that Anonymous finally caught on to her scheme, so she picked up her marbles, put her hands on her hips and then screeched on about how she meant to do that, it was an “experiment”, she is going to write her Kitty Kelly style tell all book, …yadda…yadda..yadda… and *poof* she is gone, for now, maybe.
In the future, keep an eye out for the next Jamie and Presstorm to try to hop into your twitters, your hive, your IRC, your wallet and your nightmares, they are drama nobody needs.

9/11 weekend is already a tense weekend in the DC area, with remembrance events, fears of repeated attacks and bumped up security reminders with check points and street cops walking around the metro with shotguns.
To add to this mess, a white supremacist contingent of conservatives who often refer to themselves as “Paleo-Conservatives” attempted to galvanize support via a white nationalist political conference to build a unified base. Unlike the “Neo-Conservatives”– of whom they regard as more beholden to the evils of multi-culturalism than “true conservatives” are supposed to be– the Paleo-cons openly advocate for “white America”.
The speakers at this conference included the waning shock jock from Political Cesspool, James Edwards– whose persona is a cross between a backwoods used car salesman and a racist skinhead, and The American Renaissance publisher Jared Taylor.

We subscribe to a heck of a lot of email listservs, and among them JihadWatch and the David Horowitz Freedom Center are among our most prolific subscriptions. Every day, we’re treated to a landslide of the most paranoid and ridiculous delusions about the coming floodtide of fifth-column Muslim ninja insurgent terrorists, walking amongst us– unseen!
On August 26, 2011, Center for American Progress released a large and comprehensive report entitled Fear, Inc.The Roots of the Islamophobia Network in America, which details the funding and propagation of Islamophobic rhetoric in the United States.
This report (which can be viewed in its entirety here) does little more than report publicly available information about who funds organizations like Jihadwatch and figures like David Horowitz and Pam Geller, then goes to on to document the tangible effects this sort of rhetoric has on society.
The existence of such a report in the wake of Anders Behring Breivik’s mass slaughter in Norway is timely and necessary, and the exercise of bringing transparency to shady matters is the epitome of freedom of speech and freedom of the press. That Breivik was a fan (if not a pen-pal) of Geller’s makes his inclusion in this report all the more salient.
This report therefore directly threatens the careers of the members of the cloyingly titled “Stop Islamisation of America” movement.
David Horowitz and Robert Spencer seized this opportunity to needle their audience for hard cash– claiming the best way to defend freedom of speech was to send them as much money as you possibly could.

The Center for American Progress report is obviously not an assault on freedom of speech. This is more apparent when it is compared with the actions of the groups it exposes– who routinely demonize and scapegoat all members of a religion as dangerous and duplicitous savages. Does applauding people who commit mass murder as a valid form of “combat” against said religion count as “defending freedom of speech?” Only in the mind of the murderer.
The only real difference between blindly ranting that all opposition to “pro-America” activists is funded by an Islamic conspiracy or a Jewish conspiracy is the site on which it’s published. If we were to simply change “Muslim” to “Jew” in your screeds, it would be indistinguishable from the anti-Semitic bile that is pumped out of Stormfront or VNN; sorry, Mr.Horowitz– that makes you a racist.

The middle east was in chaos this weekend with protests and clashes filling the news with the havoc. But the middle east was not the only site of protest– a smaller and less violent protest in California at what was supposed to be a billionaire caucus drew 1000 angry protesters outside a posh resort in Palm Springs California.
Despite being organized by MoveOn– and thus part of a larger political circus– the protesters were not lacking causes to oppose and rage against. The key figures present at this confluence of corporate corruption were the multi-billion dollar Koch Brothers. Apart from their status as primary funders of the entire teabag movement, the Koch’s other but no less odious claim to fame rests with their father, Fred who– with Robert Welch and Revilo P. Oliver– founded the John Birch Society. Revilo P. Oliver is a notable figure due to his prominence in White Nationalist circles (he also co-founded the neo-nazi National Alliance with William Peirce), and consequently the John Birch Society enjoyed the membership of such prominent neo-nazis as David Lane, Tommy Metzger and William Peirce. Before we digress too much, let’s just finish with how the John Birch Society is best known:
It’s not surprising that the family at the nexus of paranoid conspiracy theories about communists tampering with our precious bodily fluids attracts paranoid conspiracy theorists. Making his second appearance at this event was Glenn Beck, whose shilling for gold scams and bilking the poor out of their money apparently dovetails nicely with the committed anti-communist and pro-business crowd at this event. Thanks to ThinkProgress, we have the program from last year’s event and the invitation to this year’s event. Drunken race-baiter Andrew Breitbart also made an appearance outside the conference, choosing to spend his time roller-skating around the crowd and hurling insults. He later produced a video of an alleged eevyle liebrul stating that Clarence Thomas needed to be “strung up,” but considering Breitbart’s propensity for blatantly fabricating videos as “evidence” and how “the left’s treatment of Clarence Thomas” was the reason he became a conservative, this is probably yet another attempt at slander through video editing.
Also present, fresh off their merger with Comcast and subsequent abrupt termination of Keith Olbermann, was MSNBC– but not in any journalistic capacity. Truly, this was a panoply of plutocracts.
A movement that is wholly funded by the private coffers of two multi-billionaire brothers is in no way “grass roots.” The more light is shown on the revolting Kochs, the more they wither and decay.

To Whom It May Concern
We are regretful of your actions to attempt to retrieve information from Twitter about the account belonging to “Wikileaks”, as by doing so you are attempting to remove the anonymity of the poster and by extension, their right to speech. We are confused as to why you have brought such a subpoena against Twitter, as there is little information you will gain from these details, leaving comments and observations on the world are to our understanding; not a criminal offence
Is this not the same type of action that you, DOJ, find reprehensible in other countries? How do you justify the same action in the US? No crime has been committed yet you assume that the populace at large will just “roll over” as always and allow this intrusion.
The time has come for the people of the world to take an active part in governing their own lives and freedoms. The world must become aware that its freedoms are in jeopardy. Today, Twitter, tomorrow, what? Recent events have shown that people are becoming tired of being treated this way. Why push an unwinnable confrontation when working for the same goal is always more productive (learn from history).
The US Government expressed concern over the Tunisian Government’s actions when they attacked protesters’ Facebook accounts. Is there a difference here? They attack and you use the “law” (loosely defined) to in essence do the same thing. What’s the possible difference? Your motives are the same.
