White Supremacist “Conservatives” hold Gatherings at the National Press Club and Ronald Reagan Building on 9/11 weekend in DC

Richard Spencer at the National Press Club is the organizer for the white nationalist NPI conference

9/11 weekend is already a tense weekend in the DC area, with remembrance events, fears of repeated attacks and bumped up security reminders with check points and street cops walking around the metro with shotguns.

To add to this mess, a white supremacist contingent of conservatives who often refer to themselves as “Paleo-Conservatives” attempted to galvanize support via a white nationalist political conference to build a unified base. Unlike the “Neo-Conservatives”– of whom they regard as more beholden to the evils of multi-culturalism than “true conservatives” are supposed to be– the Paleo-cons openly advocate for “white America”.

Richard Spencer was the main organizer of the event which was sponsored by the pro-white advocate group called The National Policy Institute or NPI. Spencer was recently asked to leave TakiMag over the possibility he was too racist for Taki.

The speakers at this conference included the waning shock jock from Political Cesspool, James Edwards– whose persona is a cross between a backwoods used car salesman and a racist skinhead, and The American Renaissance publisher Jared Taylor.

Until recently, Taylor was the main organizer of these pro-white conferences, but recently they have been shut down by strong community opposition.

Meet Timothy L. Davis, a bottom-feeder fringe nutter in the world of teabaggers.

Yet another in a long line of fame-minded opportunists who are convinced that society is on the cusp of another southern secession, he fancies himself at the vanguard of a murky, ill-defined populist uprising.

Like other political opportunists who have come before him, he too has a poorly defined plan to overthrow the evil commie/nazi dictatorship– but his master plan to take over the world will succeed where one hundred percent of all previous attempts have crashed and burned!

You see, his master plan is–wait for it– to lay siege to federal offices!

He and his cohorts plan to stage a rally in DC on January 21st where they will announce their intention to besiege the offices of their representatives until “Obamacare is repealed, the federal reserve is audited and ended and our rights are recognized by every government agency.”

That probably sounded better than the original slogan of “We’re angry teabaggers who missed our chance at the limelight last year when people wanted to listen to our racist bullshit.” To be honest, the latter was a lot less nebulous than the one you decided on, man.

It’s quite clear Timothy is an amateur at this game. He plasters his name all over the whole operation, he links to the two teabagger sites he writes for (WashingtonRebel and Teaparty Editor), as well as his personal site, which he registered with his full name, address and telephone number. If you’re so worried about being crushed by the imaginary “iron fist of communism”, maybe you shouldn’t link your master plan to your real name and the site where you advertise the novels you wrote wherein you romanticize the defeated South.

The teabagger movement is not only dead in the water, it’s starting to smell.

Really, teabaggers, this the best you could come up with– a fantastically unpublished old-west writer who is desperately trying to convince the world that he’s not ripping off the hippie tactic of sit-ins (it’s not a sit-in! Hippies have sit-ins! It’s a SIEGE! MEN have SIEGES!) with the notion that this will be what gets health care reform wholly repealed? THIS is IT? To be honest, we wouldn’t have even noticed this if it wasn’t given a nod of endorsement by our other favorite would-be revolutionaries (and FBI honeypots), Restore The Constitution. When the militia psychos start talking about laying siege to federal buildings, a wildly entertaining spectacle is sure to follow.

Bob Richards the First Athlete to be on a Box of Wheaties is a White Supremacist!

The American Third Position Party is a fairly new white supremacist group out of California started by a LA attorney William “Bill” D. Johnson and known anti-Semite CA professor Kevin MacDonald.
It is not a dress-up Nazi group but a gaggle of racist pseudo-intelligentsia, with others like Jamie Kelso from the neo-Nazi forum Stormfront and James Edwards from the Political Cesspool in the mix.
Founded in January of 2010 by June 2010 it was recognized by the office of the California Secretary of State, with its intent to become a fully ballot-accessible party by the time of the June 2010 California primary election.

Their mission statement reads: “The American Third Position exists to represent the political interests of White Americans, because no one else will.”

Rev. Robert “Bob” Richards is an Olympic 1952 and 1956 gold medal winner who was the first athlete to appear on the Wheaties cereal box.
To many, the “Vaulting Vicar” or the “Pole Vaulting Parson” was considered a true American hero.

According to the American Third Position (AP3) website this all-American hero is also a white supremacist and is more than happy to join up with them.

Mr. Richards read the letter, called me on the telephone and spoke with me for forty-five minutes. At the start of our conversation he said that he has stopped making speeches. Then at the end, he said that our cause is so important, he would meet with me to discuss what can be done. Yesterday morning met him at his home in Texas

During their meeting:

Mrs. Richards would come in and out of our sitting room and participate in our conversations for a while and then leave it to take care of her affairs. I wasn’t sure of her views on some of the more controversial A3P positions (or Bob’s views really), so I waited until she was out of the room for me to broach the topic of race relations in America. When Mrs. Richards came back in, Bob said: “Guess what honey? Their political party is pro-white.” She said “That’s great. We need this. White America and the Western World is in perilous times.”

This is not the first time Richards has flirted with extremist politics. In 1984 he attempted to run for president under the far right “populist party” of which Conservapedia claims the party has long time racist roots:

“After 1896, when Bryan swept most Populist voters in to the Democratic party, the Populist movement lost most of its strength. Small fragments survived until 1908, especially under the leadership of Tom Watson of Georgia, who used the party after 1900 to attack blacks and Catholics.”

GETTYSBURG-When Gordon Young brought out his “World Knights of the Ku Klux Klan” to Gettysburg National Military Park in September 2006, he came in with 30 supporters. In the almost four years since, he disbanded his Klan group, kicked out of the NSM following an arrest stemming from a statutory rape charge on a family member that he was eventually acquitted of, and ended up in a reconstituted version of Aryan Nations. On Saturday, “Colonel” Gordon Young of the Aryan Nations held another rally at Gettysburg. This time however, he could only muster up eleven others to join him – and they left early.

June 19 is a day that Americans celebrate Juneteenth, a holiday commemorating the announcement of the abolition of slavery in Texas in 1865. While it is unknown if Young picked this particular day because of the holiday, he and his group railed particularly against blacks, Mexicans and Jews. The dozen neo-Nazis were kept 200 yards away from counterdemonstrators who were represented by various chapters of Anti-Racist Action, the Progressive Labor Party and One People’s Project.

There were some neo-Nazis that ended up in the counterdemonstrator area who were promptly confronted. No arrests or injuries were reported, although there was some shoving at one point, and a small incident after the rally when two of those neo-Nazis attempted to go back to their car. By that point antifa had identified the vehicle as possibly belonging to a Aryan Nation sympathizer by the “88″ on the rear bumper and the Confederate flags inside. Police were eventually dispatched to the vehicle and the two neo-Nazis were able to leave without incident, giving the Nazi salute as they left the park. It was the only time they made such a gesture.

Aryan Nations members stood on a Mexican flag as they spoke at the poduim during the rally, and antifa responded by tearing a Confederate flag, to shreds. Some counterdemonstrators blew bubbles and taunted the assembled white supremacists. Although the neo-Nazis had a sound system, their speeches were hard to hear from the distance they were at. Ironically those standing at the Aryan Nations staging area could hear the counterdemonstrators taunt, “We can’t hear you!” The neo-Nazis didn’t even stay for the two hours they planned, leaving less than an hour after they started.

Aryan Nations is a shell of the group it was since the loss of their Idaho compound in Idaho from a lawsuit filed by two Native Americans attacked by Aryan Nation members, coupled with the 2004 death of its founder Dick Butler. There are now several organizations claiming the Aryan Nations name, a split that began just before Butler’s death. Although Gordon Young is from Sharpsburg, Maryland, this Aryan Nations group is based in Chillicothe, Ohio, which is an hour outside the Ohio state capitol of Columbus. Recently this group had been in the press because a father and son associated with them, Jerry and Joseph Kane, allegedly gunned down two officers during a traffic stop in West Memphis, Arkansas before being killed themselves.

On July 17, Aryan Nations will hold a “White Unity Rally” in Pulaski, TN to celebrate the birth of the Ku Klux Klan in that town 145 years ago. Some attention is also being paid to a rally in Harrisburg, PA next Saturday to support State Rep. Daryl Metcalfe’s anti-immigration bill. It is being organized by Metcalfe’s friend Daniel Smeriglio, who has been under fire for his associations with local neo-Nazi groups and individuals.

Acting as an official sponsor and operating a booth promoting the “American Border Patrol” was Council of Conservative Citizens and American Renaissance associate Glenn Spencer; Spencer is best known for promoting the ridiculous conspiracy theory that Mexicans are crossing the border in an attempt to re-conquer the American Southwest.

Five people were taken away by paramedics because of the heat, and organizers exacerbated the situation by not providing free water, instead charging one dollar for a small bottle.
Those that did not succumb to the heat heard speakers from equally suspect organizations like Barbara Coe from California Citizens for Immigration Reform, Rosemary Jenks from NumbersUSA .

An animated, raving speech and an appearance from Kevin DeAnna, a pro-European right wing activist from the Leadership Institute and is also the leader and founder of the pro-white/anti-multicultural college organization Youth for Western Civilization (it appears he wrote a report back of the rally on the white “racialist” site VDare.com).

Speakers who enjoy a brighter public spotlight were not shy about attending, either– former congressman Tom Tancredo, Pennsylvania congressman Daryl Metcalfe and Maricopa county sheriff Joe Arpaio all spoke. Rounding out the cast was a baffling speech from African American activist Ted Hayes, who referred to Al Sharpton as a “traitor” and declared that African Americans were responsible for slavery, and race baiter Ray Herrera talking about the superior “anglo culture”.

Dear AR Conference Registrant,

We regret to inform you that at 6:30 pm today, February 17, the Capitol Skyline hotel, which had promised to withstand pressure, canceled the conference.

We informed the hotel of all circumstances surround the previous cancellations, including death threats, and the hotel still agreed to hold the conference. We had every reason to believe it would hold firm. We feel just as betrayed as you do.

We will be in touch later to discuss how to handle refunds of conference registrations and other matters.
