Direct Action: Nationals Boycott: AZ June 18th, 5:00pm
On Friday, June 18th, The Washington Nationals will be playing the Chicago White Sox (Obama’s favorite hometown team). As the MLB has yet to take a stand on Arizona’s racist and discriminatory law (SB-1070) we’re calling on our community to take a stand. We’re asking the MLB to BOYCOTT AZ and move their 2011 All-Star game out of Arizona.

Not only can we call on MLB to Boycott AZ, but we can encourage fans to call the Obama Administration and take action at a federal level on SB 1070.

Take a stand with us. Boycott Arizona. Come out to the game on Friday, June 18th and let’s raise our collective voices to show support and solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Arizona.

Baseball has become the latest arena for the fight against Arizona’s racial profiling law, SB 1070. The 2011 Major League Baseball All-Star game is scheduled to be played in Phoenix, Arizona and people across the country have stepped up their efforts to ask MLB comissioner Bud Selig to move the game out of the state in opposition of the unjust law.
The Major League Baseball Player’s Association has spoken out against the law, Arizona’s home team, the Diamondbacks, condemned the law (although their owner’s actions show that he still has a long way to go on this issue). And some players and coaches have said they’ll refuse to play if the game remains in Phoenix. All across the country, fans and players alike are saying that they won’t support an All-Star game that’s played in a state that supports racial profiling. It’s time for Major League Baseball to move the game.
Selig’s silence on this issue shows that he doesn’t want to think about this issue. He’s refused to comment on whether the game should be moved. He won’t move the game unless fans, players, coaches, and team owners stand up for what’s right and tell him that this is our game, too, and we won’t support a game played on the field of unfairness.

Naziboy Naziboy Where Have You Been? “I’ve Been to London to Visit The Queen!”

BNP leader and former skinhead from the National Front: Nick Griffin, announces his invitation from the queen of England to a “garden party” at the Buckingham Palace.

Nick Griffin the old street racist skinhead punk

How Nick Griffin Spent His Youth

and now the leader of the British National Party has gained a new notoriety for being invited by the royal hyena to join and rub elbows for tea, cakes and hate. The British people are now wasting their tax dollars on Nazi scum thanks to a monarchy that should have been blown out of their system long ago!

Stupid old Hag Invites Nazi Pal to Palace

ROYALS Invite … BNP leader Nick Griffin
BUCKINGHAM Palace will face criticism from anti-racism campaigners again after it was revealed BNP leader Nick Griffin is to attend a garden party hosted by the Queen. The far-right leader qualifies to receive an invite in his role as an MEP and has confirmed he intends to accept. It comes after he pulled out of a similar event last year following a wave of public outrage. A Buckingham Palace spokesman said that as an MEP for the North West, Mr Griffin is entitled to nominate himself to go.
Garden party … the Queen

Mr Griffin announced the engagement at a dinner with party supporters and boasted that he will take three members of his family to the party on July 22. He is said to have produced the invitations in front of his guests, prompting loud cheers and claps. He told the gathered crowd that he, his wife Jackie and their two daughters, Jennifer and Rhiannon, had been invited to the event on July 22.

Mr Griffin decided not to attend a similar event last year as the guest of his BNP colleague and London Assembly member Richard Barnbrook. There were calls for him to pull out from the Greater London Authority and Boris Johnson said it would embarrass Her Majesty. While saying it was “outrageous” he was pressured into bowing out of the party, Mr Griffin also said he had “no wish to embarrass the Queen”.
His possible attendance this year plunges the palace into fresh controversy. Mr Griffin has been convicted of distributing material likely to incite racial hatred. After being easily defeated in the contest for the Barking seat at the General Election, Mr Griffin has said he will leave his position as BNP leader by the end of 2013. At a BNP supporters’ dinner at the weekend Mr Griffin sneered: “So my guess is the six o’clock news on Thursday, July 22, might have a little bit about the British National Party.” He added: “So we’re gonna be back in the news.” Searchlight, the organisation which campaigns against the BNP, said it was “bizarre” that Mr Griffin had received an invitation when his party had been soundly rejected by voters at the election. Claude Moraes, a Labour MEP for London, said the move “deeply politicises and embarrasses the Queen”.
The MEP added: “She has been forced into an extremely difficult situation. I would expect some people to boycott the party.
If people knew about this it would clearly spoil the occasion for a lot of them. “It has utterly compromised the Queen and she is made to feel that she has to make a political decision.” The BNP refused to comment.

For Your Afternoon Lulz….

During a recent road trip across the country, we found it amusing to see all the over the top mega crosses and highway religionism, often next to an adult sex shop which were about the only extent of road side art to entertain us.

All I can say is, too bad we miss this…

6-story Jesus statue in Ohio struck by lightning

MONROE, Ohio – A six-story-tall statue of Jesus Christ with his arms raised along a highway was struck by lightning in a thunderstorm Monday night and burned to the ground, police said.
The “King of Kings” statue, one of southwest Ohio’s most familiar landmarks, had stood since 2004 at the evangelical Solid Rock Church along Interstate 75 in Monroe, just north of Cincinnati.
The lightning strike set the statue ablaze around 11:15 p.m., Monroe police dispatchers said.
The sculpture, 62 feet tall and 40 feet wide at the base, showed Jesus from the torso up and was nicknamed Touchdown Jesus because of the way the arms were raised, similar to a referee signaling a touchdown. It was made of plastic foam and fiberglass over a steel frame, which is all that remained early Tuesday.
