Erik Prince is *PWND* By Pink!

Erik Prince's Compound/Mansion: 1106 Mill Ridge, Mclean, VA

Remember the scuzzy war criminal group “Blackwater” who now calls themselves “XE”?

They are a nasty group of blood thirsty mercenary murderers for the Bush Admin who are guilt of senseless killing sprees of hundreds of innocent people in Iraq.

Now Prince claims to be moving to the United Arab Emirates to dodge convictions for his war criminal activities or is he?????

Code Pink founder Medea Benjamin has nerves of steel and she decided to take a little trip to McClean Virginia and knock on the door of Erik Prince’s blood money mansion and what she found was very interesting….

Glenn Beck Brings in an Unhealthy, Unhappy and Sometimes Violent Crowd to DC

The LLL/Town Hell Posse could only be amazed at the high number of unhealthy, unhappy and aggressive people who turned out to help “Restore Honor”.
It’s almost a good thing Glenn Beck didn’t schedule a march, because he’d have been sued by the families of the nearly 100,000 heart attack and stroke victims among the roughly 100,000 who believed they Restored Honor on Saturday.

It was at this rally that the folding camp chair would become symbolic and synonymous with your slackly-rallying Teabagger.

The Unhealthy and Unhappy Made Up for the Majority of the Crowd

Right Wing Watch has their report:
Beck’s Big (Yawn) Event, #1

The Glenn Beck fans on my subway car after today’s rally were a subdued bunch. They didn’t seem energized by having spent time with their idol and many thousands of fellow fans. Why not?
“It was kind of boring,” said one. “It wasn’t what I expected,” said another. “It was good,” one said with an unenthusiastic shrug. “He had some good speakers.” One recalled someone sitting near them grumbling, “I didn’t come all this way for an awards ceremony.”

As shown in the video above there were some people who quietly came out to oppose Beck and friends and met with violence, but they were not the only ones.

Our comrade who is a street journalist was attack by a woman who tried to punch his camera and here is a photo of her:

Nasty Tea Bagger Who Punched Street Journalist (click on photo for video)

Or you can view it here

From street journalist:

One of the teabaggers trued to smash my camera, earning a fist-to-fist punch in return. One of her friends tried to call the cops while I rode away laughing-straight to the 20,000 strong Al Sharpton “Reclaim the Dream” counterprotest. Too bad that wasn’t Sarah Palin herself! Rest of the article HERE

Various activists from the left were quietly and politely handing out flyers. We were able to get PDF’s of these flyers:

First Flyer:

Thomas Paine’s “Agrarian Justice” is a little known (by right-wingers, at least) piece where he argues that wealthy property owners should be levied with a heavy estate tax to pay into a fund to support the poor, elderly, and handicapped.

Second Flyer:

The Open Letter to Glenn Beck was written by AK Press after Glenn Beck misrepresented an AK Press book about the Greek riots on his show as being by and about communists using anarchy in their favor, instead of by anarchists and about anarchists.

Al Sharpton Organizes March to Honor Martin Luther King

Al Sharpton and a plethora of guests held a rally at Dunbar High School in Northwest DC on Saturday, where they sought to honor the
legacy of Martin Luther King Jr.’s historic march on Washington.
Speakers touched on a number of topics, ranging from labor rights, DC statehood and gains in the civil rights struggle and pointed out that Dr. King’s civil rights work tied varying struggles together so that everyone could succeed. Most speakers decried Glenn Beck’s rally as a cheap stunt and an irrelevant exercise.
The attitude of the rally was best encapsulated by National Action Network’s Chairman W. Franklyn Richardson– “It’s all right with me that they’re at the Mall today–because WE are at the White House!” Sharpton reminded the crowd not to get sucked into confrontations with heckling teabaggers, telling them to smile and say “It’s not about you.
It’s about Dr. King.” The march– which stepped off late– packed eight city blocks as it snaked from Northwest DC to the future site of the Martin Luther King memorial where Martin Luther King III delivered a short speech.

More photos of both rallies HERE and HERE

Discussion about turnout still abounds on the internet, but both rallies pulled strong numbers. Our estimation puts Glenn Beck’s rally around 100,000 and Sharpton’s rally around 50,000.

Hate and Violence in Tennessee Brought to You By Laurie-Cardoza Moore

The ripples from the NYC anti-Muslim/anti-Mosque hatefest are spreading nationwide as we now have reports of violent responses to the building of a Mosque in Tennessee.

Funny how Tennessee pops up in this picture because Tennessee resident and nasty racist Laurie-Cardoza Moore was one of the more horrible speakers at the NYC anti-Muslim event.

Cardoza is a Christian who uses pseudo philo-semitism to validate her racism against Muslims, and gave a baffling speech at the recent NYC anti-mosque event– claiming that Muslims can’t be “real Americans” because they didn’t fight in the Revolutionary war.

What this dingbat doesn’t seem to grasp is that most of the “real American New Yorkers” she thought she was kissing up to don’t have ancestors who fought in the Revolutionary war either. And she’s flat out wrong: Muslims did fight in the Revolutionary war

Using 9/11, nationalism, Zionism and xenophobia, Cardoza spewed hate from the podium in NYC. We can see how she has incited the violence and destruction of construction equipment in her own home town.

From One People’s Project

Murfreesboro, TN is about 943 miles from New York City, and the Islamic Center of Murfreesboro has been in town for about twenty years, but that hasn’t stopped the Islamophobes from mounting opposition against its expansion.

For good measure, one of the chief hatemongers out of Nashville against that center named Laurie Cardozo-Moore treked up to the Aug. 22 rally in Lower Manhattan to lend her support and speak to those opposing Park 51, the Islamic Center that is being built there.
Now the narrative has been that Park 51’s construction was not respecting the sensitivities of the families who lost loved ones in the Sept. 11 attacks on the World Trade Center a few blocks away from where the center is being built.

It simple: Park 51 is a center for Muslims, Muslims bombed the World Trade Center, hence all Muslims are accountable for Sept. 11, even the ones who have denounced those who did the attack – like Imam Faisal Abdul Rauf, the man building Park 51. That narrative took a serious beating as speaker after speaker went on about things which had nothing to do with Sept. 11 and Park 5, especially Laurie Cardozo-Moore who decided to attack Muslims for not signing the Declaration of Independence and fighting in the Revolutionary War (she was wrong about that one, by the way). On Saturday, a week after that rally, construction vehicles were set on fire at the site of the Murfreesboro expansion.
Police are saying it is arson. This, by the way, comes five days after the attack on a NYC cabbie because he was a Muslim – one day after the rally. It is particularly curious that with the exception of this video produced by us, you don’t find too much footage of the speeches from the rally, not even from the organizers. We can’t blame them to be hones, but after this attack in Murfreesboro, we thought it would be a good idea to give you their Cardoza-Moore’s speech there as we taped it. It will give you an idea of the hate that created the climate we see down there.

Jury Finds Neo-Nazi Bill White Liable for $545,000.00

We reported on this earlier in the week how Neo-Nazi Bill White sent out hate mail to an predominantly African American section 8 housing development in Virginia a few years back.

Well, these tenants today won their case and Bill is going to have to pay up for his poor choice of communication.

Jury awards damages in Neo Nazi case Civil trial jury finds Bill White liable

The jury has awarded plaintiffs $545,000.00 in compensatory damages in the Bill White civil trial. White is the head of a Roanoke-based neo-Nazi group and is currently in prison for making racially motivated threats. No punitive damages were awarded in the civil case.

In the civil case, five African-American tenants from Virginia Beach alleged that Bill White harassed them after they had filed a law suit against their white landlord. Today the civil trial jury held Bill White liable.

The claims made against White were: “violating federal fair housing law,” “racially-motivated harassment or intimidation,” and “intentional infliction of emotional distress.”

In December, 2009, White was found guilty of four criminal charges in U.S. District Court in Roanoke. He was accused at that time of making threats to a newspaper columnist, a mayor and several others over the Internet and by telephone.
