WHY IS ADAM KOKESH FREE?!

Typically, when someone is arrested for possession of a controlled substance and a weapon, they’re thrown into jail and seldom given bail. How is it then, that Adam Kokesh is out on five thousand dollars bond?

WHY IS THIS MAN FREE

WHY IS THIS MAN FREE?

Channel 9 reports:

WASHINGTON (WUSA9) — Gun rights activist Adam Kokesh, who was was arrested July 9 for possessing hallucinogenic mushrooms while also having a gun at his home in Herndon, Va., will be released on $5,000 bond according to WUSA9’s Delia Gonçalves.

Kokesh, who has been held at the Fairfax Adult Detention Center, has also been ordered not to have guns according to Gonçalves.

Meanwhile, Barrett Brown has been mouldering in jail without a trial for over ten months for doing far, far less. Actually, that’s a good comparison– both Brown and Kokesh made the noob mistake of being on drugs and saying stupid shit into a camera and then having their front doors kicked in, but only Brown is being charged with crimes stemming from his actual journalism– namely “receiving and disseminating stolen information.” He’s facing upwards of 100 years for his work surrounding breaking the news about the massive private sector domestic spying operation known as Trapwire.

Doing what we do for so long has given us the knack for spotting certain behavior patterns– like what saw in Hal Turner. Hal would routinely go on his radio show and issue death threats against elected officials and repeat those same threats on message boards, but law enforcement never laid a finger on him. That is, until he admitted in court that he was a paid FBI informant. No, really.

We don’t have any love for Kokesh or his Frankenstein ideology of “anarcho-capitalism,” but we know a rat when we see one. We highlight Kokesh because of his ties to white supremacists, specifically his doe-eyed, softball interviews with white supremacist Kevin Deanna and the crypto-fascist Ron Paul movement. We also highlight him to warn any of the few poorly-informed leftists among his adherents that they should very seriously consider dropping Kokesh and his sideshow antics like a bag of hammers, lest they get caught up in whatever circus the FBI is trying to engineer. Oh, we know that they’d only pick up two or three friendless losers, but they’re people who probably wouldn’t have snapped were it not for Kokesh and his government sanctioned borderline personality disorder.

Sure, the police made a very impressive show of yanking out their armored personnel carriers and swat teams for some cretin with a mushroom habit, but just as soon as they caught him, they threw him back. The only question now is whether he’s acting as fly-paper or as a agent provocateur.

Nothing is more hilarious than watching the Dept. of Homeland Security get it wrong! And nothing proves them more wrong than their own moronic tax payer wasted reports!

We were given this little delicious piece of caek today and the report is so inaccurate and funny, they are even freaking out at Anonymous jokes Ops that were presented as LULZ such as OpFacebook which was a joke from the beginning.

We know the Federales are not hired for brains, they are hired for clean piss, lack of humour, and the ability to butt kiss their hierarchal system.

TARGET: POLICE EXECUTIVE RESEARCH FORUM (PERF)

REASON:

Do we really need to explain ourselves much here? PERF assisted in organizing and coordinating the recent raids on Occupy encampments nationwide in the United States. We couldn’t sit idle while we watched our brothers and sisters being beaten, gassed, and sent to hospitals for exercising fundamental rights and essential liberties that were bestowed on them by their Constitution.

PERF organized in an assortment of law-making decisions over the past few years. From how to deal with immigration, homicide law, and even how to police on a nationwide scale, this “research forum” is the epitome of a paid, special interest police-body

Infiltrators of the Occupy Movement.

Popular activist movements attract all manner of scavengers and hangers-on, most of which seek to capitalize on the success of the more popular group to compensate for the fact that the majority of society regards them as a bunch of babbling kooks. The Occupy Movement is no different, with everyone from The American Spectator to Zeitgeist seeing the mass throng of people as easy pickings by which to enlarge their subscriber base and coffers. Some of these groups, however, see the Occupy Movement as a means to seek legitimacy for their own morally reprehensible causes, whether that takes the form of racism, fraud or selling out activists to the feds.

Here then, is a list of some of the most odious and dangerous groups and individuals currently sucking off the teat of the Occupy Movement. These people shouldn’t be considered part of the broader Occupy Movement, no matter what sort of “authority” they claim.

-Aaron Barr and Thomas Ryan

Yes, THAT Aaron Barr.

Aaron Barr? Again?! After sticking his dick in the hornets nest known as Anonymous, Barr faded from view– his career and home life in a shambles. Now he’s back, trying out his same old “I’m a security SOOPAR GEENIOUS” routine with defense contractor Sayres and Associates— presumably on some half-baked mission to “infiltrate” the Occupy movement. He’s also in the company of self-proclaimed Occupy Wall Street Snitch Thomas Ryan, who happens to be a blogger for the perpetually colicky Andrew Breitbart.

-AnonCMD (Arturas Rosenbacher)

AnonCMD

First came to prominence by hawking a bogus DDOS tool called #refref, which was promised to allow one solo user to take down any website. It was soon discovered that #refref was a total fraud, and AnonCMD was using this fake tool as a means to collect personal information on easily duped anons in order to “dox” them. He was run out of Anonops on a rail and has since turned up as the administrator for the Occupy Chicago Facebook group. During his time at the actual occupation in Chicago, he was heard to have been namedropping numerous prominent Anons as people he was allegedly friends with. This is classic snitch behavior– drop names of prominent activists as people you are “good friends with” in order to gain acceptance with higher-ups in another activist group, when in reality those “good friends” hate that snitch’s guts.

-Jaime Jo Corne and David Corne (AKA Presstorm and Vincubus)

Jaime Jo Lambertz/Corne

We have gone over this shitstorm with a fine toothed comb, and so have other sites. Presstorm’s involvement boils down to the actions of a typical grifter couple– Jaime, who has already been sent to jail for fraud, set up Presstorm to milk gullible anons and anon-supporters out of cash that would somehow “support anonymous.” Whatever. They’ve been outed as frauds, a bunch of people were embarrassed and they’re now on the run from the inescapable, unholy wrath of Anonymous. They wanted your money, now they probably want the world to forget them.

-National Democratic party of Sweden

Neo-nazis.

-Hoosier Nation and the Vinlander Social Club

Neo-nazis, interested in infiltrating Occupy Indianapolis.

-Zeitgeist

UFO cult associated with something called The Venus Project, which is debunked in a very thorough manner here. The long and short of it is that they want your money.

-Zendik Arts/Farm

Pseudo-hippie commune with a long history of former members with stories about various abuses and cult-like behavior perpetuated by Zendik leadership. They want all of your money.

-The Ron Paul Movement

Ron Paul cult of wackos

Personality cult built around a racist old coot. Why they’re involved with this is puzzling, because the overall thrust of the movement has been agitating for increased government oversight on Wall Street and banks and increased taxes on millionaires, which is something Ron Paul categorically opposes as being “un constitutional.” They want your money and your vote.

-Nordisk Ungdom (Nordic Youth)

Neo-nazis, involved heavily with Occupy Stockholm

-The American Spectator

Patrick Howley at the National Air and Space Museum.

American neo-conservative magazine whose editor Patrick Howley bragged about infiltrating the Occupy DC movement and subsequently led a group of protestors at the National Air and Space Museum to storm the doors, which resulted in several people being pepper-sprayed. Howley was sprayed twice and praised his attackers in a peice that has since been removed from the American Spectator’s website, replaced and edited numerous times– but not before the mainstream press wrote about it.

-Oath Keepers

Right wing militia group consisting of police officers and military personnel that– aside from REALLY HATING LEFTISTS– have attempted to be a large part of Occupy Los Angeles, going so far as to issue a really scary-sounding mission statement that does everything but state outright that they plan on staging a violent revolt against the US in general.

This part of their statement gets special notice: “Our government, over many generations has taken part in the destruction of the Constitution of the United States, the slow secretive theft of the rights from the American People, and during the un American acts, compromised the integrity of our nations great name. In light of these events, we now see ever so clearly that these leaders are no longer fit to represent the People of the Free World. We the People are now exercising our rights by way of the first two Amendments in order to Stand United for the Second American Revolution.”

The first two amendments? None of the Occupy groups has even remotely suggested any possibility of being even the slightest bit friendly to anything involving the second amendment, so this is what raises warning flags. This sort of vaguely-violent language comes directly out of the same scene that birthed the Alarm and Muster maniacs and the Sovereign Citizen movement. It’s dangerous and wholly at odds with the pacifist nature of the Occupy movement thus far; this just might be another American Spectator-esque stunt to discredit the movement as a whole.

We know these elements don’t hold any sway in the broader Occupy movement. We know that the mass media’s constant hammering of “the Occupy movement has no clear message” is bull– but it’s up to all of us to ensure that message doesn’t turn into “The occupy movement is just a bunch of paranoid, anti-Semitic UFO conspiracy theorists!”

*ALERT* FBI Does Multiple Raids on Antiwar Activists!!!

From Twin Cities IMC

Updated Info–At Least Four Minneapolis Houses Raided, Activists Subpoenaed in National FBI “Terror” Expedition Against Antiwar Activists

UPDATE 4pm: The office of the Anti-War Committee was also reportedly raided earlier today. See also: Search warrant for Mick Kelly’s residence and subpoena to Chicago grand jury (via TheUptake.org)

Press Conference: 4pm, 2911 Park Ave., Minneapolis

Community Meeting: 5:30pm, Walker Church, 3100 16th Ave S., Minneapolis

See also Fight Back News: Activists Denounce FBI Raids on Anti-War and Solidarity Activists’ Homes

The social justice community in Minneapolis continued to respond Friday afternoon to the raids of several of its members homes, which started before 7am this morning. (See previous TCIMC article–Minneapolis Houses Raided)

Since then, a dozen activists have been served with grand jury subpoenas, including many in Minneapolis, according to Fight Back News.  It is believed the federal grand jury is centered in Chicago, and is investigating alleged ties to “foreign terrorist organizations”–a charge which activists have immediately dismissed as illegitimate and unjustified.

The Star Tribune reported earlier today that according to an FBI spokesperson, a total of six homes were raided in Minneapolis and two in Chicago.  This statement is unconfirmed by activists, who have identified at least four of the homes in Minneapolis–one above Hard Times Cafe in Cedar-Riverside, one north of Powderhorn Park, one on Park Avenue near Lake Street and one in Stevens Square.  Antiwar leaders have said that other members of the Freedom Road Socialist Organization were targeted with raids, surveillance and subpoenas in Michigan, North Carolina and potentially California.

Grand juries are a mechanism historically used to repress and gather information on unpopular social movements; no attorney or judge is present in a grand jury interrogation.  Activists who defy grand juries risking imprisonment on civil or criminal contempt.

Outside the raid above Hard Times Cafe, one person at the cafe as the raid began said that he saw about a dozen FBI agents, some with large guns, outside.  Conflicting reports from the other raids indicate that agents attempted to keep their presence low-key, without large marked vehicles or heavily armed SWAT teams–although Jess Sundin told the AP that a SWAT team entered her house first, then left to be replaced by other agents.  But outside Hard Times Cafe, a number of the unmarked vehicles included at least one with an “official business” sign from the ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms) in addition to the FBI.

The mood outside the cafe and apartment was one of defiance, with activists and supporters vowing solidarity in the face of repression.  Early in the afternoon, agents began to remove boxes with unknown contents from the apartment, and eventually departed.  The search warrant for 1823 Riverside called for search and seizure of such a laundry list of items, including electronic equipment, documents, financial records, literature, and more, that “it might have well just said ‘everything’,” someone remarked after seeing a copy.

The Uptake, in addition to almost every local corporate news outlet, was present at two of the raids in the morning and posted a short video report on their site. (Photo credit above)

No immediate information was available Friday afternoon about the raids in Chicago.  The FBI spokesman, however, said that like in the Minneapolis raids, there were no arrests.  He added to the AP in Chicago that there was no “imminent threat to the community” – raising the question of how anyone could be suspected of terrorist ties without an imminent danger.

The answer, of course, lies in the increasing trend of the state in using “terrorism” charges to justify repression against activists, lately in Minnesota through the Green Scare, the RNC 8, and as many have predicted might happen, now against antiwar activists as well.

Justice for Parrot

From Luke

Dog lovers and activists protest murder of dog by police
Author
Luke
Date Created
22 Sep 2010
More details…
On Adams-Morgan Day,a DC cop shot and killed a dog in cold blood. It wasn’t enough to get a knee in the dog’s ribs try and choke him out, he threw the dog down the stairs and shot him. A little over a week later, animal rights protesters and dog lovers showed up in front of MPD’s headquarters at 300 Indiana Avenue NW.

One sign showed Parrot, saying “If I were a poodle I would still be alive.” A banner condemned police violence in general.

Protesters demanded that the offending cop be fired, and pointed out that he has a record of killing one of his OWN dogs, and also appears on facebook with a dead deer. A cop like this should be treated as someone working up to shooting people next.

It is widely suspected that Parrot was really killed for being a pit bull. Hmm-seems to me that MPD also shoots people for who they are, especially if they are not white. With an attitude like this, is it any surprise that dogs are shot for who they are as well?

Siberian Miners Riot Against Safety Concerns and Low Wages

Russian Miners Clash With Police

From ITAR-TASS News Agency

MOSCOW, May 15 (Itar-Tass) — Twenty-eight people have been detained for resistance to police in Mezhdurechensk where two methane explosions at a coalmine claimed at last 66 lives and left over 20 missing and more than 90 injured last weekend.

A criminal case has also been opened, the Investigation Committee under the Prosecutor General’s Office (SKP) told Itar-Tass on Saturday.

On May 14, “residents of Mezhdurechensk, Kemerovo region, blocked a section of the railway line between Novokuznetsk and Abakan” delaying about 20 trains, SKP said.

“Negotiations conducted by regional administration officials and police failed,” it added.

“Soon after that OMON started forcing the people off the railway tracks. They offered active resistance, throwing rocks and bottles at the policemen,” SKP said.

It said the situation had been normalised by 1 a.m. May 15. “Twenty- eight active participants in the action were taken to the police station in Mezhdurechensk. As of this moment, we know of six injured policemen,” SKP said.

A criminal case has been opened for “use of violence against a government official”.

Kemerovo region Governor Aman Tuleyev said about 50 people had blocked the railway line between Mezhdurechensk and Abakan for three hours last night.

“Twenty-eight people were detained. The investigation is under way. There are only two miners among them, nut they have no relation to Raspadskaya. These are mainly unemployed local gang leaders. For example, one of the detainees, Anton Gerasimov, introduced himself as a mine worker, but after a check was run it turned out that he was on the federal police’s wanted list. He was one of the initiators of the march to the railway line,” the governor said.

“Several cars carrying vodka and sandwiches were detained on the way to Mezhdurechensk last night as well. There are very many people in the city now who have no relation either to mass media or Kuzbass. It’s obvious that the people were worked up,” Tuleyev said.

Miners from the Raspadskaya coalmine did not block a railway line, their leader Yelena Pershina said.

“When we were in the square after the funeral, there were attempts to draw us into this, and people would approach us and pull at the sleeves, but we did not go for it,” she told journalists.

Regional police chief Alexander Yelin said 17 OMON policemen were injured during the incident. Two of them received craniocerebral and 15 light injuries. Of those who blocked the railway line, five sought medical attention in Mezhdurechensk as out-patients.

The transport prosecutor’s office is deciding whether to open a criminal case. These people got mainly their hands and faces bruised because they jumped at the shields, Yelin said.

“Today I met with the initiative group that represents the interest of Raspadskaya coalminers. They told me of the wage situation at the mine and other social issues. I learned many interesting things about the mine management’s work. We are investigating all facts. I agreed with all of their demands and ordered my deputies to solve these issues as soon as possible,” Yelin said.

On Friday, Russian Railways Company said more than 20 freight trains and one passenger train with 204 passengers onboard were delayed in Mezhdurechensk for several hours after local residents had blocked the railway line between Karai and Mechdurechensk.
